taxes are due
three days after Easter.
I borrowed
at those sub-prime
heart rates
loaned me by unprincipled lenders
forged in fairytale
in now this lifelong Lent.
I gave up the idea of understanding
interest income and 1099s--
but if you find me
some invested return
